Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 14 April 2025
This policy explains how Damai Logic uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, what choices you have, and how to manage those choices. It applies to all pages hosted at damailogqr.live.
Section 01 // What Are Cookies
What Are Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device — computer, phone, or tablet — when you visit. The file contains a short identifier that the site can read on subsequent visits. Cookies do not execute code; they are passive data stores.
Websites use cookies for a range of purposes: keeping you signed in across page loads, remembering display preferences, counting visitors to understand which pages are useful, and in some cases, identifying you across different websites to show relevant advertisements.
Some cookies are placed directly by the site you visit (first-party cookies). Others are placed by external services embedded in the page (third-party cookies). The two behave identically from a technical standpoint, but third-party cookies are accessible by the external service across any site where that service is embedded.
Section 02 // Cookie Categories
Cookie Types We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active — cannot be disabled
These cookies are required for the website to function. Without them, core features such as page navigation, form submission, and the cookie consent record itself would not work.
Examples
- — Session identifier (keeps your browser session coherent)
- — Cookie consent record (stores which categories you have accepted)
- — Security tokens (prevent cross-site request forgery)
Duration: Session or up to 12 months for consent record
Analytics Cookies
Optional — you control this
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages they visit, how long they stay, and where they arrive from. The data is aggregated; it does not identify individual users. We use this information to improve the site's structure and content.
Examples
- — Page view counters
- — Referral source tracking
- — Session duration estimates
Duration: Up to 24 months
Marketing Cookies
Optional — you control this
Marketing cookies record whether you have visited this site and may be read by advertising networks to build a profile of your browsing behaviour across sites. We use these for limited retargeting purposes — showing our services to people who have already expressed interest. The data is controlled by third-party ad platforms.
Examples
- — Ad network visit tracking
- — Retargeting identifiers
- — Conversion tracking pixels
Duration: Up to 90 days
Preference Cookies
Optional — you control this
Preference cookies remember choices you make about the site's presentation — for instance, which region or language you selected, or display settings you adjusted. Without them, you may need to re-enter those choices on each visit.
Examples
- — Language or region selection
- — Display mode preferences
- — Previously entered form fields (where enabled)
Duration: Up to 12 months
Section 03 // Manage Preferences
Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles above to set your preferences, then save. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. Your choices are stored in your browser and will apply on your next visit.
Section 04 // Third-Party Services
Third-Party Cookies
The following external services may set cookies when they are loaded on this site. Each service has its own privacy policy, which governs how they use the data they collect.
| Service | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Analytics | Site usage measurement |
| Google Ads | Marketing | Conversion tracking |
| Meta Pixel | Marketing | Advertising attribution |
| Microsoft Clarity | Analytics | Interaction recording |
Section 05 // Cookie Duration
How Long Cookies Last
Session Cookies
These exist only while your browser is open. When you close the tab or browser window, session cookies are deleted. They are used for state that does not need to persist — for example, tracking your position within a multi-step process.
Persistent Cookies
These remain on your device until they reach their expiration date or until you delete them. Durations vary: consent records typically last 12 months; marketing cookies 30–90 days; analytics cookies up to 24 months. Expiration dates are set in the cookie itself.
Section 06 // Browser Instructions
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Each browser provides its own interface for managing cookies. The steps below lead you to the relevant settings. Note that blocking all cookies will affect functionality on most websites, including this one.

2. Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
3. Choose your preferred option — block third-party cookies, block all cookies, or allow all.
4. To delete existing cookies, click See all cookies and site data and use the delete controls.
5. To set exceptions for specific sites, use the Sites that can always use cookies list.

Mobile browsers follow similar patterns. On Android Chrome, navigate to Settings → Site Settings → Cookies. On iOS browsers, settings are generally found in the device's Settings app under the browser name.
Section 07 // Your Rights
Your Rights and Choices
Right to Withdraw Consent
You may change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the preference panel on this page. Changes take effect on your next page load. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Right to Access Information
You may request details of the data we hold about you, including cookie-derived data, by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required under Malaysian personal data law.
Effect of Disabling Optional Cookies
Disabling analytics and marketing cookies will not prevent you from using the site. Some preference features may not persist between sessions if you disable preference cookies. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without rendering the site non-functional.
